Cheryl Lynn Andersen, 69, recently of New Milford, NJ passed away after an extended period of poor health.

Cheryl graduated from Claremont Secretarial School, and used her advanced skills to manage multiple offices throughout her career. Cheryl resided in Lodi for 45 years and loved Broadway shows, especially "Phantom of the Opera". She loved watching science fiction films and crime investigation television shows, Sherlock Holmes mysteries, and was a big Yankees fan. Additionally, she was a talented photographer who captured beautiful images of her travels, friends and family.

She was predeceased by her loving parents, Harald & Alice Andersen, and is survived by her brother Lawrence Dean, sister Laura Ragnhild, and niece Jessica Raab, for whom she was a dedicated guide to travel, theater, history and culture.

So sorry to hear of Cheryl's passing. My fondest memories are the many MCIFA events we attended as well as working the BCEFA table. Will remember her always.

I'll always have fond memories of Cheryl. She was one of a kind! She didn't let minor things, like two broken arms, keep her down. She was a joy to be around.

So many memories of Cheryl. So many fun times going to movies and Broadway shows, the MCIFA gatherings and BC/EFA flea market table, taking day trips that could end up anywhere -- it was always a surprise! She was an amazing lady and I feel so fortunate to have had her as a dear friend. She will be sorely missed but I pray that she's at peace now.

Thank you, Larry, for constantly keeping us informed about her condition over the last year. Will keep you, your sister Laura and your niece Jessica in my heart and prayers always.
