Obituary

SCALERA, Frank R., age 69, of Hewitt, died on April 24, 2020. Originally from Elmwood Park, Frank owned and operated Franks Collision and Arrow Towing for many years. He was an avid boater, loved riding his Harley and enjoyed going to classic car shows in his 1972 Corvette Convertible. He will be greatly missed by all. He is predeceased by his parents, Frank and Elizabeth Scalera, his father-in-law, Lawrence Suter (who just passed on April 28, 2020), and a sister-in-law, Eileen Suter in 1995. He was the beloved husband of Mary (nee Suter), loving and devoted brother to Barbara Scalera, Linda Jacubek and husband Donald, dear son-in-law of Margaret Suter, loving and devoted brother-in-law to Kathleen and Robert Stolarz, Diane Suter, Janet Suter, Robert and Lisa Suter, and Margaret and Stojce Trajanoski. He was also an adored uncle of Jason, Jimmy, Christopher, Jennifer, John, Koren, Walter, Christopher, Jessica, Caitlyn, Maggie, Samantha, Victor and Josef, and many great nieces and nephews in which he so loved. All services were privately held by the Attentive Cremation Service, 180 Harrison Avenue, Garfield, NJ (973-340-7077). A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
