Obituary

BALLOVERAS, Patricia (nee Mailhos), age 52, of Garfield, passed away far too soon on the night of September 26, 2020. She was born in New York being raised in New York and New Mexico. At all times, she was an empathetic and active member of her community. From the PTA, to the motorcycle club, she belonged wherever she went and brought laughter there. She enjoyed cooking world cuisine and reading historical fiction. Some of her favorites were slice-of-life snapshots of simpler times. Patricia was a HR Manager and business partner to her husband working at Circle Visual Inc. and was always an indispensable part of its operation.

She is predeceased by a cherished mother, Fulvia Primavera Edl. Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Oscar Balloveras, three devoted children, Oscar, Jr., Olivia and Allie, cherished father, Hugo Ricardo Mailhos, three beloved siblings, Rich, Joanna, and Stephanie, and a special Tía (Auntie) to Sophia, Richie, Aiden, Isa, Antonio, Josiah, Brysen, Edward, Ava, Sebastian, Penelope, Liam, Erika and Karla. She is also survived by her loving Yorkie, Rosie.

Patricia was a beacon of joy, and a source of constant encouragement. Her last years were lived beautifully. She will be forever missed and loved by all. All services were privately held by the Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Avenue, Garfield (973-340-7077). Condolences visit aloiafuneral.com. A cause close to Patricia's heart was Hopeafterloss.org. Please consider memorial gifts in her memory to Hopeafterloss.org, 900 Chapel St, New Haven, CT 06510 (203) 782-4330.

There are very few people in the world like Patricia Balloveras. Always smiling, always looking on the bright side, always looking to lend a helping hand— the list goes on and on. To say she will be missed is an understatement. Praying you are engulfed in a supernatural peace that God Himself is able to give.

Goodbye Aunt Patricia! Maybe at some point we can give each other the hug that distance and destiny denied us. I would have liked to meet you personally and not through a screen, but that's the curiosities of life. You will always be in our memory. Your family from Argentina.

Patricia was a very special person. Every time that we had the privilege of being with her, Oscar and their children we were very happy. She was very loving and always had a big smile. She will be extremely missed by Oscarito, Oscar Anthony, Olivia, Allison, her father, brothers, and all her family and friends.

I've known Patricia for more than 30 years during which she, Oscar and I shared various exciting and challenging times. Patricia was always warm, grounded and a source of strength for her family and all who knew her. Her very premature passing is a great loss to everyone she touched.

My deepest sympathies and love go to Oscar, Oscar Anthony, Olivia and Allie.
