Maria  Niscemi (Malleo)
NISCEMI, Maria (nee Malleo), age 84, of Garfield, died on September 27, 2010. She was born and resided in Bolognetta, Sicily for 47 years settling in Garfield 37 years ago. She was a seamstress for 25 years with the I.L.G.W.U., Passaic Local, a parishioner of Mt. Virgin Church, Garfield, and a member of the Garfield San Pio Prayer Group. She is predeceased by her husband of 59 years Pietro in 2009. She is survived by three daughters, Rosaria DiSalvo and her husband Antonio, Paola Montalbano and her husband Salvatore, Silvana Antoci and her husband Claudio, six grandchildren and one great-grandson. The funeral is Thursday, September 30, 2010, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 10 am followed by a 11 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield. Entombment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Saddle Brook. Visiting Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Niscemi family is in the care of Aloia Funeral Home, 180 Harrison Ave., Garfield (973-340-7077).
